Investigative Exercise 9 Evaluation
Bega Valley Shire library appears to use no Web 2.0 technology. This may be due to the older age groups, economy and also the rural location.

Investigative Exercise 6 Social Bookmarking
The inclusion of reviews are not really necessary. My library does have this feature but many of the books do not have a pre-existing review perhaps it is because people have little time to write reviews. A lot of people also know the book they're looking for in a library and the exploration of the novel is part of the process of reading.
Investigative Exercise 5 Social Networking
I don't think it is a good idea for libraries to participate on a social networking site. Running a library is difficult enough let alone updating everyday.
Facebook is really for social networking. Libraries according to the statistics on "I'll Bet I Can Find 1,000,000 People Who Think Libraries Are Important is on Facebook", are reaching many. Quote 'Americans go to school, public and academic libraries nearly three times more often than they go to the movies.'

Blog Activity 4 – changing the arrangement of your blog
Notice that the labels have now been moved from along the top to the right side.
Blog activity 3 – changing the colour of your blog
Check out the new colours. If you noticed, the font is now bluish instead of the former white and a section of the background is now coloured red rather than the previous black.
Investigative Exercise 4 Youtube
Library story time session video on YouTube featuring the "Little dragon" as read by Ben Ngeow.
It is told in Chinese. The book is a picture book with pop ups and flaps. It is told with actions and noises.
